Sam Jackson is currently the Director of Climate Science and Impact at Ecologi. He is an advisor and contributor to a number of industry groups and a regular speaker at sustainability events.

Sam previously worked in the charity and sustainable tourism sectors before moving permanently into climate and corporate sustainability in 2020. He was part of the team behind the establishment of Tourism Declares a Climate Emergency, was a member of the ABTA Animal Welfare working group which established updated guidelines for animal welfare in tourism in 2019, and recently was part of the Advisory Group to the BSI on the BSI Flex 3030 standard for Net Zero Transition Plans.

As well as holding Master’s Degrees in Climate Change Science & Policy and International Relations (both with Distinction), he is a Practitioner Member of IEMA, a Registered Environmental Practitioner with the Society for the Environment, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. His main expertise and interests surround climate change science and impacts, environmental economics and policy, and the human relationship with nature.
